ATA is a professional association founded to advance the translation and interpreting professions and foster the professional development of individual translators and interpreters. Its 11,000 members in more than 90 countries include translators, interpreters, teachers, project managers, web and software developers, language company owners, hospitals, universities, and government agencies.

BNI (Business Network International) is the largest organisation for business networking in the world. It enables its members to share ideas and contacts, and to acquire new business referrals.
Over 6,800 BNI groups have been established around the world, which include over 169,000 companies. In 2013, BNI members exchanged more than 13 million business referrals and generated over USD 6.5 billion. Over 350 companies are members of BNI in Slovenia, generating over EUR 5 million through business contacts obtained in BNI in the last 12 months.
ELIA is the only European association of translators, interpreters and localisation companies. The association was established as a forum where companies and individuals exchange experience and promote the development and creation of good business relations between various translation companies.
The SFPO is a non-profit NGO established on the basis of an initiative of civil society to achieve internationally comparable competitiveness and excellence. The Slovenian Foundation for Business Excellence is a centre of knowledge and activities which promote and develop the principles of quality and excellence in all spheres of life. The SFPO organises various seminars, exchanges of experience and other activities.
