No comments. While intellectual achievements are certainly noteworthy, we should not focus exclusively on them—even though many of these young people may choose to pursue that path. The foundation is excellent. The world needs healthy individuals—people who grow up in a wholesome and stimulating environment. It always begins at home, with the example set by parents, and continues beyond the home, under their guidance. There is no better influence than having someone—at home or elsewhere—who encourages a child in the right direction. Therefore, investments in children are never superfluous. Especially those who show that they are not afraid of hard work—those who chart their own path with love and enthusiasm. Even the youngest were part of our initiatives: - individuals supported by the Janez Levec Training Institute created New Year’s cards for us, and in return, we hosted a New Year’s party for them at the Beti in Cej children’s center; - through our support for kindergartens—facilitated by the Fini Institute from Radeče—we earned a "Tolerant Company" certificate; - in the Styria region, we supported the Jumicar program, through which children from the Kamnica Elementary School learned the fundamentals of road safety; - as members of the Rotary Club Zgornji Brnik (since June 23, 2015), we have even larger humanitarian projects ahead of us.
