North Macedonia possesses key advantages sought after by Slovenian companies. Improving employment conditions, low taxes, a vibrant agricultural and industrial sector, and a welcoming environment for foreigners are the attributes through which North Macedonia opens itself up to business cooperation and foreign investment, explains Dragan Šibanc, the SBC ambassador in the country. “Since gaining independence, Macedonia has achieved a degree of stability and maintains a stable exchange rate. In other words, a stable currency represents the best and fairest social policy. The political situation and climate have been excellent since the brief conflicts of 1999. Furthermore, the leadership of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia actively promotes the Chamber’s educational department, providing entrepreneurs with a wealth of information and the latest developments.
