All your ideas can be realised through creativity in entrepreneurship.

In 1999, after eight years in the military, I graduated from sociology and moved to Slovenia. I learned Slovenian between 1999 and 2001 and was later appointed a court interpreter. As a result of my affinity to language, I started my own company and named it PSD.

I’ve been constantly involved in language services and consulting, which have been taken to the highest level in the last twenty years. In addition to translation of books and technical literature, we also lease out interpreting equipment and provide certified translation, proofreading, editing and revision.

Based on the diversity of clients and the needs of foreigners living in Slovenia, I’ve founded a consulting company, www.psd-consulting.com, which has advised at least 350 clients in the last fifteen years, who conduct their business in the Republic of Slovenia and generate 100+ million of profits.

My experience is featured on the www.psd.si website where you can choose from our specialised services:

Language solutions

We are language specialists. We help you earn more money.

A mere translation of a text no longer suffices. Participation in foreign markets and translation of your technical texts require professional language solutions.

Business consulting, courses and seminars

At our seminars, you’ll learn a completely new approach to sales. A correct sales approach ensures a multiple increase in the number of clients and concluded business deals.

How to enable a company to grow? Are you wondering about where and how to start a company and open a branch or a subsidiary abroad?

Alphabet of excellent wellbeing

If you stop taking care of yourself, your mind and body will stop taking care of you. After ten years in the army, twenty years in entrepreneurship and many years of hard work, I have experienced the good and bad sides of wellbeing while performing managerial functions. I couldn’t have done it without sports and food supplements.

Our activities and clients

Together with its subsidiaries in North Macedonia, Serbia, Germany and UK, the PSD Group regularly employed 18 workers and cooperated with some 650 expert subcontractors, such as translators, proofreaders, revisers, court interpreters, editors and advisers in the fields of law, HR, sales and organisation.

In 2009, PSD was the first company in Slovenia to obtain EN 15038, the European standard for translation services, and the ISO 9001 Quality Management Certificate. We still hold two certificates for translation services and quality management, i.e. ISO 17100 and ISO 9001 respectively.

We are proud of our clients. Some of them have been with us since our establishment and until the merger in 2023: Cetis, Q-Free Traffic Design, DRI, Messer, Marche and many others who contacted us when they needed high-quality translation services, including LifeClass and Kempinski hotels, Kema Puconci, Žito and Pannonian thermal resorts.
We are very proud of our 18 years of cooperation with the Secretariat-General of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the ministries.

What are we proud of?

We are delighted to work with every client. I’m proud of the fact that our clients stayed with us and still trust us after the merger with a larger company. Our clients are special to us. It’s not always easy for someone who comes to Slovenia, as they have to work that much harder to succeed. But I’ve never regretted choosing entrepreneurship, as this was the only field in which I felt creative.

We are proud to have translated some 150,000 pages of legislation, agreements, press releases, speeches, environmental and other reports, such as the Annual Report of the Human Rights Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia, and many more for the Government of the Republic of Slovenia between 2007 and 2024.

We are also proud to have advised more than 350 entrepreneurs between 2005 and 2023 who have started their entrepreneurial career in Slovenia. I have transferred the knowledge obtained during my own business experience to new entrepreneurs who work hard and defy all crises. By 2023, their newly established companies have generated more than EUR 106.000.000.

Employees in the PSD Group between 2005 and 2025

Our employees who have followed the philosophy on quality and were selfless when doing their work are the most deserving of the provision of high-quality language solutions. I can’t thank them enough. Gratitude for work well done is expressed even today from the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and other clients who appreciate hard work and selflessness.

We were said to be “always available”.

No president, minister, management board member, director or secretary has ever waited for our translation. It was always submitted on time and in accordance with the expected criteria. Translation is responsible work. And our colleagues have excelled at it.

Timeline of the PSD company

Today, the world is quite different to how it was 20 or 30 years ago, when I started my first company in 1997 and employed two colleagues. Indeed, the world has changed, but the wish to create didn’t and that’s what drives the entrepreneurial story onwards. So, don’t disregard your wishes because you can move mountains with the correct approach and by being active.

Our story, which initially revolved around language solutions, has evolved into a story written together with our clients in the form of professional translation services for the business sector, including economy, legislation, tourism, medicine and others.

It was upgraded by corporate consulting and resulted in more than 350 satisfied clients who still conduct their business operations in Slovenia.

The Future of Translation Is Here

At PSD/W&L Translation, we believe the future of translation lies in intelligent integration. That’s why we are introducing a three-tier translation model, combining the strengths of different approaches to offer our clients flexibility, quality, and efficiency:

Human Translation

Machine Translation

AI-Powered Translation

For when quality, creativity, and nuance matter most. Ideal for legal, medical, marketing, and complex technical texts. Every word is carefully crafted, reviewed, and contextually aligned — by experienced, native-speaking professionals.
Fast and cost-effective. When speed is essential and content is repetitive or internal. Combined with post-editing by linguists, it becomes a powerful solution for large-scale projects.
The best of both worlds. Using cutting-edge artificial intelligence with human validation to produce reliable, consistent, and scalable translations — with increasing precision and adaptability over time.

With 20+ years of experience and a proven track record in large-scale translation workflows, our team can also help organisations set up or optimise internal translation departments, ensuring maximum impact from day one.

➔ The future is not about choosing one method — it’s about using the right one for each project. And we’re here to help you make that choice.
